Housemaid pours pepper, smashes mistress’ head with champagne bottle in Lagos
An 18-year-old maid, identified as Miss Samson, allegedly attacked and left her mistress in a coma after it was discovered that she stole her mistress’ money and kept it in her bag.
Samson, an indigene of Ogoja, Cross River state, was allegedly desperate to escape from the house which her mistress, Mistura had locked.
She allegedly poured blended pepper on the boss while she laid on the bed.
She then grabbed a champagne bottle and smashed it on the Mistura’s head repeatedly until she passed out. The incident happened on Monday.
The suspect was reportedly apprehended by residents in the Ejigbo area of Lagos who heard the victim’s scream for help.
Doctors at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, are battling to save the life of the civil servant.
It was gathered that Mistura lost a lot of blood in the incident, and had been given six pints of blood as at Tuesday.
Doctors reportedly gave her four pints so she could go through a surgery early Wednesday morning. She was still in a coma after the surgery.
