It isn’t just a star-studded event with A-list artistes performing their biggest hits, one thing that stands out is the massive 58 feet tall Aro Meta Statue built out of over 3,000 Star crates, with a Star LED screen base. The most astounding thing is that Star Lager, built these statues, entirely out of Star crates; over 3,000 of them! This remarkable work of art has automatically become the most photographed artistry at the event, featuring countless attendees.

Why The Three Lagos White Cap Chiefs (Aro Meta)?

Aro Meta popularly called the “three wise men” were built to welcome people coming into Lagos State. Agba Meta or Aro Meta is an Art Deco statue of three Lagos white-cap chiefs and it is the most iconic symbol of welcome, honour and hospitality in Lagos.

Tapping into the traditional Lagos lifestyle, the Aro Meta connects to Star’s core message of bringing people together to enjoy the brighter life. Star is the premium beer brand that welcomed Lagos into the brewing and enjoyment world when it was introduced into the Nigerian market on June 2, 1949 as the first indigenously brewed beer in a market that was dominated by imported brands.
