Gunmen Abduct Wife of Former AIG, Hakeem Odumosu in Ogun

Gunmen have stormed the residence of retired Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Hakeem Odumosu and abducted his wife.

This much was revealed by the Public Relations Officer, Ogun Police Command, Omolola Odutola, in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

According to her, the incident occurred in the Arepo area of Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria.

The victim was said to have arrived at her residence when the gunmen swooped in on her Lexus Jeep and whisked her away.

“The divisional police officer has led a team of officers to the scene, where they are currently searching the swampy bush area.

“The Baale of Warewa and Maaba have been contacted to also deploy local security forces to the riverine area,” the Spokesperson said.
