Gas Leak: 12 Die at Georgian Ski Resort
A deadly gas leak at a ski station in Georgia has left 12 people dead, Neusroom understand.
Georgian police, on Monday, confirmed it to be a case of carbon monoxide poisoning.
The Police say 11 foreigners and 1 Georgian national were discovered dead in a sleeping area above a restaurant at the ski station of Gudauri, in the north of the country.

“Preliminary tests do not indicate any trace of violence on the bodies,” Police confirmed.
Carbon Monoxide (CO) is an odourless, colourless and tasteless gas which is very toxic to both humans and animals.
When fuels like natural gas, propane, gasoline, wood, or charcoal are not completelt burnt due to insufficient oxygen, carbon Monoxide is produced.
