Gambler goes on killing spree after losing money in casino

The gambler had lost about $300 as he gambled in the City View Casino in Nairobi, Kenya, reports say.

He then went to a female manager and asked if he could borrow more cash for gambling.

“But the manager seems to have declined to lend him the cash he wanted which angered him. He walked out and came back while armed with a Somali sword which he used to first slash the woman killing her on the spot,” said Japheth Koome, Nairobi police boss.

The man, identified as John Muchanga, also reportedly attacked and killed a security manager who tried to save the woman.

The gambler also stabbed another security manager in the shoulder before a mob attacked him in return.

“By the time police arrived at the scene, he had been lynched by a mob that was angered by his earlier acts,” said Koome.

The injured guard is in a stable condition in hospital..
