Former minister of Works & Housing buried in Nassarawa
The former Minister of Works and Housing, Hassan Lawal who died in the late hours of Saturday, has been buried.
Lawal, who was born in 1954, died at the age of 64 in Turkish Hospital, Abuja at about 4:30 am, on March 25. He left behind two wives and six children.
A family source disclosed that the minister who served under late President Umaru Yar’Adua would be buried in his home town, Keffi Local Government Area, in Nasarawa State.
Alhaji Mohammadu Auwal, the Chief Imam of Keffi Central Mosque, who presided over the funeral prayer, prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest.
