FC Barcelona signs Dani Olmo for 60m Euros
Barcelona Football Club has completed the purchase of Spanish forward, Dani Olmo.
The former Leipzig player arrives at Camp Nou in a deal worth 60m Euros, add-ons included. The player has now put pen to paper on a 6-year contract that runs up until June 2030.
The transfer follows weeks of negotiating between both clubs, with Barca finally conceding to the valuation of the German club.
Dani Olmo is a versatile forward adept at multiple positions including Supporting Striker (SS), Left Winger (LW) and even a Right Winger (RW).
The Spaniard arrives after a successful outing with his country where he won the Euros and contributed goals and assists to their cause.
It remains to be seen whether Barcelona continue their pursuit of their previous target, Nico Williams, now Olmo has arrived.
New Head Coach, Hansi Flick, is looking to take Barcelona back to its glory days after an abysmal last season.
Barca will have fierce rivals, Real Madrid, to contend with, who, on their own, have been boosted with the arrivals of hitman, Kylian Mbappe, as well as highly rated Brazilian Wizkid, Endrick.
