Senator Elisha Abbo threatens legal action over alleged sex tapes
Senator Elisha Abbo, who represented Adamawa North, has initiated legal proceedings against Wange David, following her allegations of creating sex tapes together.
In a recent interview, Wange claimed they made 32 sex tapes and accused Abbo of leaking a compromising video, saying, “he is the only one that has access to that video.”
Senator Elisha Abbo’s lawyer, Odiyowvi Osusu, swiftly denied the allegations, calling them defamatory and malicious. According to Osusu, the accusations have severely damaged Abbo’s reputation and misled the public.
“Our Client has been made aware of a series of videos published on social media and online media platforms to deliberately and maliciously malign his person,” Osusu stated.
Osusu emphasized that the allegations of sexual exploitation, publishing and distributing intimate videos, and blackmail are false and harmful to Abbo’s personal and professional reputation.
To rectify the situation, Elisha Abbo’s legal team demands that Wange retract her statements and issue a public apology within 72 hours, publish the apology on national television and in three national newspapers and obtain approval for the apology’s terms from Abbo’s lawyers.
Failure to comply will result in further legal action. Abbo’s team is determined to protect his reputation and clear his name.
“We will not stand idly by while our client’s reputation is tarnished by baseless allegations,” Osusu emphasized.
