Edo Guber Polls: PDP Accuses APC OF Rigging
Supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo state have accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of rigging the Edo Governorship elections.
The PDP supporters have now laid seige to the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission in the state as a result of their greivance.
Recall that the governorship election in Edo state was held on Saturday, September 21.
Of the three leading candidates, Monday Okpebholo (APC); Asue Ighodalo (PDP) and; Olumide Akpata (Labour Party); it is the former who has taken a commanding lead, with pundits tipping him to become the next Governor.

The elections has, however, come on the backdrop of reports of vote-buying and voter suppression.
PDP suporters have now rasied the alarm, alleging results tampering by the INEC.
So far, 16 local governments results have been announced by INEC, with Okpebholo leading.
The Commission revealed that it will recommence announcement of results by 5pm on Sunday evening.
