Edo Decides: “We will not take it!” – protesters storm INEC Benin office
Residents believed to be members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are protesting the conduct of Edo State 2016 governorship election.
The protesters are reportedly contesting the results of Esan West and Esan East local government areas they claim the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) rigged.

They stormed the Benin office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) where results are being collated. Reports say they’re demanding INEC to stop the announcement of results from their areas.

Security officers are blocking protesters from breaking into the collation center, reports say.
