Donald Trump promises the “4 Greatest Years” in American history if elected

Donald Trump, feeling assured after surviving an assassination attempt recently, officially accepted the Republican nomination for the upcoming US presidential election in November.

In his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Donald Trump pledged to bring Americans together and create better times ahead if re-elected for a second term.

“I stand before you this evening with a message of confidence, strength, and hope,” he said

“Four months from now, we will have an incredible victory, and we will begin the four greatest years in the history of our country.”

“Together, we will launch a new era of safety, prosperity and freedom for citizens of every race, religion, colour and creed. I am running to be president for all of America, not half of America because there is no victory in winning for half of America.

Donald Trump will be joined on the ticket by vice presidential candidate JD Vance, a 38-year-old senator from Ohio known for his alignment with Trump’s policies.

The events at the convention highlighted Trump’s ability to persevere despite challenges.

Just days earlier, someone tried to assassinate him during a Pennsylvania rally, shooting and injuring Trump’s ear. Despite this recent incident, Trump returned to the stage with his ear bandaged, rallying his supporters with his usual enthusiasm and determination.

Before the speech, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan ripped off his shirt and told Americans to embrace “Trumpamania.” In a speech lasting an hour and a half, he described feeling the assassin’s bullet hit his ear and being smothered by Secret Service agents

“I’m not supposed to be here,” he told the crowd, adding: “I had God on my side”
