Dangote Refinery’s Petrol Supply Delayed to July

Dangote to Begin Oil Production to Support Refinery Operations

In a recent announcement, the Aliko Dangote, owner of Africa mega refinery, Dangote refinery, has revealed that the anticipated plan to release premium motor spirit (PMS) into the Nigerian market this month has been postponed. Dangote informed newsmen on Monday that petrol from the refinery will now be available in July.

Aliko Dangote cited minor challenges as the reason for the delay, emphasizing that the product will be ready for distribution between July 10 and 15.

“We had a bit of delay, but PMS will start coming out by 10 to 15 of July. But then we want to keep it in the tank to make sure that it settles. So by the third week of July, we’ll be able to come out to take it into the market,” he explained.
