Dangote, Otedola appointed as members of APC presidential campaign council
There’s too much at stake between the two leading parties in Nigeria, APC and PDP in the build up to the 2019 presidential election. The duel is a winner-takes-it-all and one of the chief contenders, APC is making moves to swing the outcome in its favour.
This was made evident as the party unveiled the list of key personalities that will be joining it’s presidential campaign council to make sure that it comes out victorious in the elections. Prominent among the roll call is Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote and billionaire businessman, Mr Femi Otedola, who are surprisingly getting into politics more publicly than ever before.
The list which was released by President Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina revealed that Dangote and Otedola will be serving in the special advisory committee to the president.
APC is set to flag-off President Buhari’s re-election bid on Friday (today) which will take place in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.
