Dad shoots his four children to death following dispute with wife

This is the latest murder rampage in a country where lovers’ quarrels frequently escalate into fatal shootings partly because of the easy availability of guns, reports say.

And it’s shocking.

Police in Thailand have arrested a man for killing his children, Monday morning, following a spat with his estranged wife.

Police captain Wittawat Paiboon told AFP that the man who had a long and troubled relationship locked himself in another room.

“Police had to use a ladder into a bedroom to remove the bodies of the children,” he said.

“They were two boys and two girls. They had been deliberately killed,” he said.

He added that the man did not appear to be drunk or or drugs as he was coherent when he spoke to negotiators.

The victims ranged from six to 16 years old.
