Dad mistakenly shoots teenage daughter in the face, now she’s dead
It was an accident.
He thought the gun was not loaded, but it turned out it was as “it went off by mistake”, police say.
Kaitlyn Pullam, 17, took a bullet in the face and was found in her bedroom unresponsive before being rushed to the hospital.
There, her heart restarted, but she remained in a coma for four days after which her family made the heartbreaking decision to switch off her life support machine on Christmas Eve.
She died on Boxing day.
