Court sentences manager to jail for stealing company’s N12.5m
The court, on Thursday, pronounced a six months prison sentence on Oluwalusi Kikelomo, a former branch Manager in O-FAGE Enterprise Nigeria Ltd, over N12.5 million fraud.
The court had heard that Oluwalusi diverted the Ado Ekiti-based company’s money for personal use between February 2017 and October 2018.
She told the court that she was guilty of the one count charge of stealing and obtaining by false pretence.
The judge at the Federal High Court in Benin also ordered that all assets recovered from her as proceeds of crime should be forfeited to the company.
