The former Secretary, Civil Liberties Organisation, Mr. Alagoa Morris, said the organisation would support the family in ensuring that justice was served in the case.
Morris, however, said, they are unsure about the direction the family wants to go for now. he revealed that he had mentioned the proposed support of CLO in an earlier visit to the family.
‘We are waiting for them. We cannot cry more than the bereaved. So, if they are ready and the police authorities are not going the way they should go, we are ready to step in and support them legally to pursue the matter for justice.’
Also, the Coordinator, Operation Rescue, Princess Elizabeth Egbe, condemned the extrajudicial killing of the teenager.
Egbe said the group would collaborate with other human rights organisations to ensure that the matter was not swept under the carpet.
