Chris Ihidero is a Nigerian screenwriter, filmmaker, and educator, renowned for his exceptional storytelling skills and contributions to the Nigerian film industry. With a career spanning over two decades, Ihidero has established himself as one of the most prolific and respected screenwriters in Nigeria.
Born and raised in Lagos, Ihidero developed an early interest in storytelling and filmmaking, which led him to pursue a degree in English and Literature from the University of Lagos. His career began in the early 2000s, writing for several production companies before making his breakthrough with the critically acclaimed film Big Daddy (2005), which he co-wrote with renowned filmmaker Tunde Kelani.
Over the years, Ihidero has written or co-written numerous hit films and television shows, including Fuji House of Commotion, Edge of Paradise, and Hush. His creative excellence has earned him several nominations and awards, including recognition at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) and the Best of Nollywood Awards.
