Just In: Soludo Clinches APGA Governorship Ticket Unopposed

Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo, has emerged as the flagbearer of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the upcoming governorship election scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2025.

Soludo, who ran unopposed in the party’s primary held on Saturday in Awka, the state capital, polled over 300 delegate votes to secure the nomination.

A renowned economist and former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria from 2004 to 2009, Charles Soludo first assumed office as Anambra State Governor in March 2022.
