Channels TV Aso Rock correspondent dies, leaving colleagues in shock
Channels TV, one of Nigeria’s leading television stations, is in deep mourning, having lost one of its prized journalists.
Friends and colleagues are mourning Chukwuma Onuekwusi, a state house correspondent, who has passed on following an undisclosed illness. Many attested to the good life he lived, calling him a ‘hard and passionate worker’.
The late broadcaster joined Channels in 1998, quickly becoming well liked, with many important postings and awards to show for it. He was the stations correspondent in Aso Rock, before his death.
Channels TV is yet to issue a statement.
