Bus crashes into wall, kills 1, injures 43
The passenger bus crashed into the wall of the Standard Bank buildingin Port Elizabeth, South Africa, killing one woman and leaving 43 others injured in the process.
According to the Eastern Cape health department, the crash took place around 3:00pm at the corner of Kempston and Commercial roads in Sidwell.
“The woman was ejected through the window of the bus and landed in between the bus and the wall,” a spokesperson for the health department said.
The driver whose condition was not immediately known, appeared to have lost control of the bus.
None of the injuries sustained are life threatening..
