The 2,000 recruits of the Nigerian Immigration Service, NIS, claiming to have been illegally disengaged from service have suspended their protest.
The recruits had stormed the Aso Rock to express their dissatisfaction with the terms of the re-engagement process announced by the Federal Government earlier in the week.
But the Presidency effectively turned a deaf hear to the protesters who spent the night out in the cold.
Aisha Yesufu, a social crusader who led the march to Aso Rock, announced the postponement via Twitter moments ago.
