Buhari dead? Femi Adesina laughs at rumour mongers
President Muhammadu Buhari is alive. But it seems some Nigerians would rather have him dead. They keep spreading a baseless rumour that the president, who is on medical vacation in London, is no more.
Media aide Femi Adesina was so done with such people he laughed at their apparent gullibility.
Adesina was live on City FM, Lagos, when he was asked about the death rumour.
“Femi Adesina amused this morning, he was on radio and was just laughing at comments on the rumoured illness or death of Buhari,” Vincent Obia who listened in live, said.
Adesina emerged from the radio studio, Friday, still laughing; an image the station shared on social media suggests.

Adesina has spoken at several radio stations in Lagos this week debunking the fake news of Buhari’s death.
Senior presidential media aide Garba Shehu has debunked the rumours. So has Senate President Bukola Saraki and information minister Lai Mohammed.
Buhari is expected to resume his presidential duties on February 6. There seems to be no cause for alarm.
