Buhari catches “trekking bug,” walks from “home” to Aso Rock office

It’s official. There’s Acute Trekking Virus (ATV) in Nigeria, and President Muhammadu Buhari is likely infected!
The virus first showed up in the days after he was elected president evident in the way almost everyone began trekking “upandan” in seeming show of solidarity for the new Number One.
Well, Buhari resumed at his Aso Rock office today, on foot from his residential quarters. We don’t know the exact time he got in but reports say it was “early on Monday morning.”
Yeah, we know you’re probably disappointed it wasn’t a long trek. But at least we can rest assured the ATV is here to stay, and we can stand secure that, unlike MERS and Ebola, it’s not deadly.
But since Buhari “belongs to nobody,” we still are not sure whom he trekked for.
Okay, okay…someone said he probably trekked for everybody. Loool!
We think the next best thing Mr President can do now is take a selfie from that office and post it on social media. We’re expecting his highly revered media aides to make that happen.
Waiting….
