Breaking: Fani-Kayode remanded in Prison until Monday

The Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos will not decide Femi Fani-Kayode’s bail application until Monday.
Presiding, Justice Sule Hassan directed that Fani-Kayode, and two other defendants be remanded in prison custody until then.
This followed arguments from the prosecuting and defense counsels for and against granting bail to the accused persons.
Justice Hassan said he needed time to review the bail hearing arguments.
Fani-Kayode, who appeared in court dressed in all white, was first remanded in prison custody on Wednesday after he had spent weeks in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
He is being tried for allegedly siphoning about N1.5 billion inf state funds for “political and personal uses”.
Standing trial with him are former Finance Minister, Nenadi Esther Usman and Danjuma Yusuf..
