BREAKING: Angola’s long-time President confirms he will step down after 37years rule

Angola’s long-time President Jose Eduardo Dos Santos confirms he will step down.
The 74-year-old has been leading the Republic of Angola since September 1979 (37years ago) when it was known as the People’s Republic of Angola.
AFP made the development known in a tweet on Friday.

President Dos Santos is one of the longest serving leaders in Africa.
The Gambia’s Yahya Jammeh was ousted after 22years rule, while Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe remains in power after 36years.
