Boko Haram terrorists kill Nigerian colonel in Borno ambush

There was a battle between Nigerian soldiers and Boko Haram terrorists on Wednesday.
An Army lieutenant-colonel lost his life in the clash. He has not been named.
The clash occurred at a town along Bama/Konduga, Borno State, where Boko Haram terrorists reportedly ambushed a military convoy.
An unnamed number of soldiers were also injured in the ambush. The lieutenant-colonel was one of the injured. He later died from his wounds.
Reports say several of the terrorists were killed in the clash.
