Awkward Friday: Driver, passenger fight over “terrible” N50 change

If there are tricycle drivers your heart holds dear, you may want to pass this story across to them.
This particular driver was almost beaten up by his passenger around Allen Avenue of Lagos State this morning.
For why na?

“Look at the N50 change you gave me?!” the young passenger looked enraged as the tricycle stopped in front of the popular Adebola House.
“Are you m*d?” he asked the driver who tried explaining that he got the frayed money from another passenger.
The scene almost degenerated into (exaggeration alert!) a war zone when the driver tried to drive off.
“You are m*d,” our furious passenger was now sure.
He stopped the driver, clenched his right fist and was about to land a “Manny” punch…then came the spoiler saviour.

An onlooker tried calming both sides but recorded no success. He was probably wearing the wrong clothes.
Dressed in simple white apparel topped with a white cap, the man who entered the scene next certainly passed for the perfect peacemaker.
Didn’t matter that he came from nowhere…he saved the day, and spoiled the fun for folks who love to see blood and sand.
Case closed.
So go tell your tricycle-driving buddy not to mess with livid passengers. A white-clad peacemaker may never show up.
