Anthony Joshua involved in road accident in Ogun State, two killed
World-renowned British-Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua was reportedly involved in a road accident on Tuesday along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in Makun area of Ogun State.
According to eyewitness accounts, the incident occurred on a busy section of the highway near Danco Filling Station.
The vehicle conveying the boxer, a Lexus SUV with registration number KRD 850 HN, allegedly collided with a stationary truck under circumstances that remain unclear.
Sources at the scene said Joshua sustained minor injuries and was attended to promptly, while two other individuals reportedly died on the spot as a result of the crash.
An eyewitness, Adeniyi Orojo, confirmed that the accident happened shortly before the Danco Filling Station axis of the expressway.
Following the incident, fans and well-wishers have taken to social media to express concern for the boxing star, as authorities continue investigations to determine the cause of the accident.
