Another man attempts to commit suicide by jumping but fails to die in Kampala
Less than a month after Mustafa Lule attempted to commit suicide by jumping off Mabirizi Complex in Kampala, Uganda, another man has followed in his footsteps… in same Kampala.
The man reportedly jumped off Garden City Mall’s rooftop and landed on a vehicle, which probably cushioned the effect of the tragic fall and saved him from dying.
Reports say the jumper has been admitted at Mulago hospital with multiple fractures and other injuries and will be prosecuted for attempted suicide.
Kampala metropolitan spokesperson, Emirian Kayima says the man is believed to be between the ages of 25 and 30. His name and reason for attempting suicide are yet to be communicated to the public.
