Aiyedatiwa sweeps all 18 LGAs, set to win Ondo Election
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the Ondo State governorship election.
The incumbent has bested the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Agboola Ajayi, who came second at the polls.
Results released by the state Independent Electoral Commission reveal that Aiyedatiwa racked up the majority of votes cast across all 18 local government areas of the state.
Aiyedatiwa scored 366,781 votes, while Ajayi polled 117,835 votes across the 18 local government areas of Ondo State.
