Activist Accuses Justice Nwite of Aiding Tinubu To Jail Protesters
Activist, Francis Nwapa, has accused Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja, of being the political tool used by President Tinubu to jail #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protesters.
The Activist made this bold claim in a statement released on his X handle on Monday.
According to Nwapa, the recent actions of the Judge contravens every stipulation laid down in the Nigerian constitution.
He labelled the remand of the hunger protesters as a violation of the provisions of Criminal justice Act & provisions of the 1999 Constitution.
“Injustice Emeka Nwite has violated every provision of Democratic Constitution. He is the henchman of the @officialABAT Fascist regime.

“Against provisions of Criminal justice Act & provisions of the 1999 constitution, Protesters have been Remanded in Prison for demanding Good Governance. We shall defeat this monstrous regime,” Nwapa tweeted.
Neusroom reported, earlier, that Justice Nwite, on Monday, ordered the remand of nine #EndBadGovernance protesters in Abuja at the Kuje Correctional Centre till September 11 pending hearing on their trial and bail applications.
The Judge also ordered the remand of the 5th defendant, the only female defendant, at Suleja Correctional Centre.
The sole complainants to the suit filed against the 10 protesters are the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
