A 28-year-old welder, Ignatus Simon was on Friday sentenced to three months imprisonment for stealing a television set.
Simon had been arrested after one Abigael Gwazah reported the theft at the Gwarimpa Police Station.
Gwazah accused the convict of breaking into her house in December and stealing one 32 inches television valued at N53, 000.
Upon being arraigned before a Karmo Grade 1 Area Court in the Federal Capital Territory, Simon pleaded to a two-count charge of housebreaking and theft.
