Abuja: Police in gun battle with robbery suspects, shoots one dead
The police have shot one robbery suspect dead following a gun battle in Zuba on Sunday.
According to a statement from the Nigeria Police Force, the gun battle ensued aftetr a police patrol team ran into the armed robbers’ road block along Tungan Maje Road.
The robbery suspect who was killed was dressed in Military uniform, the statement says.
It added that the other members of the gang escaped while a short double barrel gun was recovered.
