2019 Election: Presidential debate to hold January 19
If everything goes according to plan, there will be a live broadcast of a debate among all 2019 presidential candidates on January 19, 2019.
The Nigerian Election Debate Group made the development known in Abuja on Thursday (today).
The group’s chairman, John Momoh, said the debates will hold at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
Candidates occupying the Vice President positions are also expected to participate in a debate December 14.
There is no confirmation yet from President Buhari’s camp whether he will be willing to partake in the debate, but Oby Ezekwesili had confirmed to Neusroom weeks ago that she was willing to engage other candidates in a public debate.
