13 Suspected Internet Fraudsters Arrested in Sokoto By EFCC
The Sokoto Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has apprehended thirteen individuals believed to be involved in internet fraud. The arrests took place on Saturday, September 28, 2024, in the Gidan Yaro and Dandima areas of Sokoto, following credible intelligence regarding their activities.

An official statement released by the commission on Monday, September 30, confirmed the operation, stating that all suspects have identified themselves as students of Usman Danfodio University in Sokoto.
