Let’s go.
- His name is Obinna Onuoha.
- He’s 43.
- He’s married and has four children. He’s a devout Catholic.
- Onuoha is an alumnus of York St. Johns University in the UK where he studied Leading Innovation & Change. He also holds a degree in Applied Business Management from Harvard Business School, in Massachusetts (USA). He’s also a member of the Harvard Business Review.
- Onuoha worked with oil firm, Texaco Nigeria Plc.

- He’s now CEO of oil and gas distribution company, Premier Petroleum Limited. He founded it in 1995. He now has offices in Abuja, Lagos and a factory in Osisioma, Abia state.
- His 68-year-old mother fell seriously ill a few years ago, and made him promise that he would build a church if she survived.
- That was what led to the construction of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Abajah, Imo State. The 2000-seater church was built in 2012.
- Onuoha said the dream to build “Jesus de Greatest” came in 1997. It was commissioned in 2013 and unveiled on New Year’s Day, 2016.
- The 40-ton heavy and 28 feet tall statue is sited at the same location as the church his mother made him build.
